My name is Jeff Parker, and I suffer from career ADHD.  I've had three different careers to date, and each new one was better than the last.  I spent more or less ten years doing systems stuff, ten years managing an investment team, and ten years teaching high school math.  I won't call Next Ten Photography a new career because I don't want the pressure, but it sure seems like a great way to spend the Next Ten years.  I'll be more than happy to worry about a poor naming idea if this blossoms and lasts longer than that, which I sincerely hope it does.

The nest is empty.  My wife and I have two kids - both working.  Our golden retriever doesn't take up too much of my time, so I needed to get busy.

My dad retired 20+ years ago and took up wood turning.  He's truly become an artist.  I'd like to do the same with photography but I have a lot to learn.

I've always liked photography.  I'd like to get better, and I anticipate that I will.  In any event, I hope what's here continuously improves and that, in the meantime, you enjoy some of what you see.  If you do, please let me know using the Contact page.  I'd love to get your feedback and hear your thoughts and ideas.  This isn’t a commercial site but if you’re interested in purchasing a photo you see, send me a message on the contact page.
